Burke Mtn Trail Day

February 28, 2015 at 8:26 pm

We’d like to send out a huge thanks to everyone who gave up some riding time on a beautiful day in February last weekend to help us restore Frank’s to fast, flowy, fun. We had over 60 people show up; by far the largest turnout ever. A special thanks goes out to ‪#‎Wesbild‬ for giving us permission to work on their land and for buying us lunch. Thanks to Me-N-Ed’s Pizza for giving us a killer discount on the 17 pizzas that were consumed. And last but not least, thanks to our sponsor for the day:

Trail Day – North Starz Re-buff

May 28, 2014 at 7:58 pm

So the clock has been reset – our Trail Fairy Trophy for the 2013-2014 Build Season was given away at our fundraiser on Sunday night. There was some pretty stiff competition and 2 volunteers were neck and neck throughout the year. Vic Arding edged out Peter Zubick by 1 hour to win the King of the Trail Fairies title, a sweet trophy and a $50 gift certificate to Secret Cycles. If you want a crack at the title for next year, Sunday is your chance to get started.

We’ll be hosting a trail day on North Starz this Sunday, June 1st. Meet us at the traffic circle at David and Heritage Mountain Blvd at 9am.

All levels of builders are welcome. Please bring water and gloves. An uber tasty lunch will be provided.

Please sign up by clicking here so we know how much food and supplies to bring.

We’ll see you there!

This trail day is being supported by our TORCA Platinum level sponsor:

So … We’ll spend our first trail day of 2014 working on Blue Line. (please do a no-snow dance for us!) If you haven’t ridden Blue Line or don’t even know where it is, you’re in for a pretty awesome treat.

The goal will be to mine a lot of gold and to deal with some drainage issues.

Lunch will be provided so if you can’t make it, please remember to change your RSVP so we can bring the right amount of food/refreshments.

We’re looking forward to kicking off the New Year right with some dirt slinging and good times with building buddies. See you there!
