Oct 27, 2013 Physio Trail Day – Recap
Well we are completely overwhelmed by the amazing support of our mtb community! 27 people came out to work on Eagle last weekend.
We managed to tackle some large projects that will go a long way in sustaining Physio. We also had a small crew of vollies working on IMBY, a partially reclaimed trail that will act as a good bypass to the Wall and a good ‘warm up ‘to Physio.
We wanted to give a special shout out to Dale Nagata for leading the crew on IMBY. Dale has put in countless hours on Eagle and with NSMBA and BMBA over the years. We are very lucky to have his knowledge and expertise in our neck of the woods and we are looking forward to more successful build days with Dale’s leadership. (PS – for those of you keeping track, Dale is leading in TORCC volunteer hours, followed closely by Peter Z and Vic A).
We also can’t thank our sponsors enough for their contributions to these trail days. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to pull off such successful events. A big shout out to Caps Westwood, Trailside Physio, Kintec Port Moody and Mule Bar. You gave us coffee, energy food and lots of swag. We are very grateful for your support!
